Little Rock man killed two weeks after surviving shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police detectives are investigating an overnight homicide that took place at Trinity Village apartment complex.

21-year-old Daishaun Allen was taken to a nearby hospital after police received several reports of gunshots in the area. Allen later succumbed to his injuries.

One other man was found when police arrived late Monday night who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Little Rock police confirmed that Allen was injured in a shooting on June 2 on Cantrell and Cleveland that left another man dead.
