Hot Springs teen arrested for shooting, killing man in March

Payton Mann has been charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark — Hot Springs Police responded to 411 Hollywood Street on Saturday, March 14 after reports of shots fired in the area. 

When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Joshua Stevens who had been “shot to death” according to a statement released by police.

Nearly four months later on July 9, the Hot Springs Police Department arrested 18-year-old Payton Mann and charged him with capital murder and aggravated robbery.

Police say Mann is being held in the Garland County Detention Center with no bond.
