Arkansas Business Seeks Nominations for CFO of the Year

Arkansas Business is now taking nominations for its annual CFO of the Year Awards. Honorees will be honored during a virtual livestream awards ceremony on Dec. 15. 

The CFO of the Year Awards honor the state’s top CFOs and their company’s achievements. The awards are designed to recognize CFOs who have taken on the essential duty of fiscal leadership, successfully guiding their company or organization through prosperous and uncertain economic times.

You can nominate an outstanding CFO in one of several categories at The nomination deadline is Aug. 24.

Nomination categories are:

  • Small Private Company CFO
  • Large Private Company CFO
  • Small and Large Bank CFO
  • Nonprofit Organization CFO
  • Public Sector CFO
  • Education CFO
  • CFO Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Award in Accounting

Given restrictions and concerns about COVID-19, Arkansas Business plans a special livestream event to honor this year’s CFO class.

“We plan to honor this outstanding group of CFOs in a way similar to last month’s 40 Under 40 virtual livestream,” Arkansas Business President and Publisher Mitch Bettis said. “We’re planning for a small, socially-distanced in-studio audience with our honoree’s friends and supporters joining us live video video.

“Last month’s livestream was great fun, and we’re looking forward to honoring our CFOs in a similar fashion.”
