Whitmore Leaving Tyson Foods For Keurig Dr Pepper

Justin Whitmore is leaving Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale to take an executive position with Keurig Dr Pepper of Burlington, Massachusetts.

Whitmore joined Tyson Foods in April 2017 as the company’s chief sustainability officer, a position he held until September 2019. John R. Tyson, the son of Tyson Foods Chairman John Tyson, was named CSO and Whitmore was put in charge of Tyson Foods’ alternative protein businesses, which included the Raised & Rooted brand.

At KDP, Whitmore will be the company’s chief strategy officer and oversee the mergers, acquisitions and corporate partnerships. He will start at KDP on March 1.
